I would assume most people know that Jake and I have relocated to Northwest Arkansas. If you didn't know...well...surprise! We are here and we are loving it! It really is a beautiful place and the people are so friendly. Anyway, we finished Fall 2014 semester at BYU, and we packed up to start our lives in Arkansas! We packed up our belongings in December into a trailer (ABF) and we didn't see it again until Valentine's Day! The few things we didn't pack into the truck got loaded into our small Hyundai Elantra. And then our journey began!
We drove into Bentonville in the late afternoon and our housing search began. We looked at duplexes, we looked at apartments, and we looked at houses. I think we looked at every possibility there is in Bentonville, Centerton, or Rogers. (Centerton and Rogers are cities that border Bentonville.) We had heard before moving that Centerton was the place to be for young couples and new families, so we were hoping to find something there.
We saw this home on the first day of our search. We immediately fell in love with the house, but we wanted to look at all the options before jumping the gun.
After a few days, we found another house we liked. It was a bit of a fixer-upper though, so we passed. We just loved this house. Something about it kept me coming back to it. Long story short, it is now the place we call home! It is simply perfect. :)
It has really started to feel like home now that we have our belongings, our furniture, and we've started to decorate. I don't know if we feel old enough to have a house! But I guess this is happening!

I'm not going to add pictures of the extra bedrooms (beside this one) because they don't really have anything in them because there is no one to occupy them! And I think everyone pretty much knows what an empty room looks like. Anyway, the previous owners had these cute dandelions up on the wall. I think they are cute, so for now, they are staying up.
Anyway, that's the gist of the house! The pictures aren't great because they were taken with a cell phone. We also didn't take pictures of the front or backyard because it is currently covered in freezing ice, and we didn't want to subject ourselves to that. Pictures of the yard will come in spring when everything isn't dead. Well, that's that I guess! If you want to see more, I guess you'll just have to come and visit us! :)
