We planned to spend an adventurous Memorial Day weekend in Branson, MO. We planned to zip-line, kayak, do go karts, and much more. Buuuttt...unfortunately, it rained 80% of our time there. We still made the most of it though! We headed to Branson on Friday afternoon, but we arrived late enough that we didn't really have time to do much. Saturday morning was spent at the outlet mall. The rain can't stop us from walking around a mall, does it?
After the rain cleared (for a few minutes at least) we went to Moonshine Beach. It is a unique little place! A beach away from a beach. We didn't swim because the water is still freezing. We're going to keep it in mind on those hot, humid summer days.
The evening ended at Branson Landing.
We went to this control car store. It was similar to Build-a-Bear, but it was for remote controlled cars. You can pick the wheels, the car shape, other...car stuff. Jake really thought it was cool.
We also went to the water show. It is similar to the show at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. The water shoots up with the music. It was only one song, but it was still fun to see.
The next morning, we awoke to a chaos of rain. We spent most of the morning in the hotel room playing board games. If you are in need of a fun card game, I suggest Monopoly Deal. It is super fun and not nearly as long the original board game Monopoly.
We had planned to go Kayaking, but a major storm was coming up on the radar, so we were advised not to go. We headed to Branson Landing to walk around again. It was a fun place, so we decided to hang out again. In the middle of our perusing, a shower of rain came upon us. We got very wet!

We also just toured the city a little bit. We found a Christmas store that was pretty fun. Whenever Jake and I take a trip, we find a Christmas ornament from that area. It was the perfect place!
The night was complete with an acrobatics show. It was super cool! I am truly amazed by the things those acrobats could do with their bodies. Crazy!
The trip to Branson wasn't what we originally expected, but it certainly was fun. We will be returning again soon, I'm sure of it!
